About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Cumberland City Council residents are invited to a Summer Children's Clothing and Toy Swap in Wentworthville.

Come along to exchange the clothes and toys your child has outgrown, for something more fitting.

Please limit your items as we cannot accept donations.

HOW IT WORKS:

Each participant can bring along up to 5 items of clothing or toys (or both) to swap. Maximum of 10 items per person. Items should be suitable for children 0 - 5 years old.

1. Drop off your items at 9:30am at the swap desk .

2. Take a wander through the Wentworthville Library while everything is arranged on display.

3. Participants can then 'shop' (swap) items from the display. Swap time is10:00am - 11:00am.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Maximum of 10 items ONLY per person. Choose items you would be willing to gift to friends or family.
  • All clothes must be in good wearable condition and washed.
  • All toys should be clean and in working order; battery operated toys must work and have batteries included.
  • No soft toys or cloth toys accepted.
  • No small parts that could be a choking hazard.

Items that do not fit the above criteria may not be accepted.

Exchanging items at a swap party means you can take home something ‘new’, at no expense to you or the environment.
