Bio
Ashlee Woodgate is a powerhouse performer who brings drama, elegance, and playful charm to every performance. A classically trained soprano with a Masters in Opera Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Ashlee has taken centre stage in some of opera’s most beloved roles, including Mimi (La Bohème), Violetta (La Traviata), Nedda (Pagliacci), Helmwige (Die Walküre), and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte). Her talent has seen her perform internationally, making her Carnegie Hall debut in Die Zauberflöte with Manhattan Opera Studio in New York City.
Beyond the opera house, Ashlee’s love for cabaret has flourished as a regular singer and MC on Sydney Showboats, where she blends stunning vocals with theatrical storytelling. Her cabaret debut at Don’t Tell Mama on Broadway proved that she’s just as at home belting out a show tune as she is delivering a breathtaking aria.
A true performer with an effortlessly diverse theatrical ability, Ashlee has also trained as a screen actor and worked alongside some of Australia’s leading television talents.
