The Climate Council is turning 5! Join our Chief Climate Councillor, Tim Flannery and CEO Amanda McKenzie, along with our Climate Councillors and community for a special panel event to discuss the future of climate action in Australia.

This is a chance for you to hear from some of Australia's leading climate communicators as well as ask your own questions. Joining our panel on the night are:

Professor Tim Flannery - Chief Climate Councillor, internationally acclaimed scientist, explorer and conservationist. Professor Flannery was named Australian of the Year in 2007.

Professor Lesley Hughes - Climate Councillor and Distinguished Professor of Biology and Pro Vice-Chancellor at Macquarie University. Her research focuses on the impacts of climate change on ecosystems and species.

Professor Karen Hussey - Climate Councillor and a leading Australian researcher in the field of public policy and governance, particularly in the areas of sustainable development, environmental policy and international trade.

Greg Bourne - Climate Councillor, and a leading knowledge expert on the nexus of climate change, energy, business and policy. Greg has worked with both business and government alike on energy policy.

Amanda McKenzie - An Australian environmental leader, CEO of the Climate Council and founder of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.

Sam Mostyn - Climate Council Director and Chair of Citibank Australia, Carriageworks and Deputy Chair of the Diversity Council of Australia. She is a member of the Business and Sustainable Development Commission and the advisory board of the Crawford School of Government and Economics, ANU.

Martijn Wilder - Climate Council Director and Head of Baker & McKenzie’s Global Environmental Markets legal practice.

The MC for the evening will be Tony Eastley, one of the ABC's most experienced and respected journalists courtesy of celebrityspeakers.com.au
