As you know, the University of Tasmania has been formally recognised as the tertiary sector’s world-leader in climate action for three years running, in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings.
Building on this significant achievement, we are very pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the University’s first climate change-focused Massive Open Online Course (MOOC): 'The Climate Shift: Exploring Science, Empowering Action'.
Developed by a cross-disciplinary team across the University community, the MOOC will soon be available to the public at no cost. We hope that increasing access to our climate change expertise will contribute to raising climate literacy within the Tasmanian community and beyond.
Please join us in celebrating this exciting milestone with colleagues and learn more about the MOOC, its development, and our aspirations for its impact.
A light networking lunch will be provided following formal proceedings.
