Studio visit and demonstration with Phil Greed.
Join us on a visit to the Safety Beach studio of local ceramic artist Phil Greed.
The studio visit will commence at 10 am with a tour of his studio followed by a demonstration of one of his hand building techniques that he uses for creating sculptural forms. The visit will complete at 12pm.
Make sure you book early as there are only 12 places available.
About Phil Greed:
Phil holds a Bachelor of Arts (Ceramic Design) Degree from Caulfield Institute of Technology (Melbourne, Vic) and a Graduate Diploma in Vocational Education and Training, SCU. He worked at TAFE NSW in various roles for over 35 years and was involved in the design of the current art and ceramic studios at Glenreagh St. Phil is a founding member of Coastal ClayMakers Inc.
In 1983, Phil moved to the Coffs Harbour area and has been a maker and teacher of ceramics for over 40 years. He has established a number of studio workshops producing functional and sculptural work, exhibiting regularly with selected galleries in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, and on the North Coast. He currently lives in Safety Beach .
