Join @vancouverpoetrycollective for a special 6 month anniversary of the Collective Words series with VOLUME 6 / 6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY at @forasteravintage, 688 E Hastings St.
Special guest and incredible songwriter @ianbadgersings will be joining us for a set, and we will be slinking drinks from special locals and as per usual, other special local @ilovemy2blackcats will be cooking up food for serving.
For the first time ever, this event will be ticketed as we wanna make sure our talents are paid fairly but anyone who signs up to read, will be given a free drink!
As always, anyone is welcome - reading or not!

Collective Words is a night of poetry at Forastera Vintage hosted by Amanda Bordrup of Vancouver Poetry Collective
We invite poets and other writers to come share their work, meet other artists, get inspired, and support the work of the blooming community of Vancouver poets. Whether you have just started writing or you’re already established, we wanna hear your work. We especially encourage poets of all marginalized groups to participate as well as poets of different ages and nationalities. We care about expanding our social and emotional understanding of contemporary writing and welcome words that spark relatability and compassion. This event is inclusive, competition-free, and will act as an open and safe space to engage with poetry.
Anyone can sign up to read and every speaker will get 4 minutes to share their work, including introduction and context. This means we can only accommodate 15 people so make sure you sign up upon arrival to guarantee your spot on the list.
