🎣 Fishcare's FREE 'Come and Try Fishing' Days - Open to All! 🎣
Whether you're a first-time fisher or a seasoned angler, Fishcare's 'Come and Try Fishing' days welcome everyone to experience the joys of fishing while learning sustainable angling practices! Supported by our dedicated Fishcare Victoria staff and volunteers, as well as Women in Recreational Fishing and Boating (WIRFAB) ladies, each session provides a hands-on fishing experience tailored for all ages, skill levels and abilities.
🌟 What You’ll Enjoy:
- A 90-minute fishing experience that covers Victorian fishing rules and regulations
- Guidance on sustainable fishing techniques
- Opportunities to catch a fish with all equipment provided, including rods, tackle, and bait
- All covered under a group fishing licence - it’s FREE!
Please Note:
Bookings are essential. These popular sessions have limited spots, so book early to secure your place.
If you’re unable to attend, kindly cancel through Eventbrite to free up a spot for someone else.
Weather and safety: We may need to cancel sessions due to adverse weather. Any cancellations will be communicated via email or SMS within 24 hours of the event if needed.
