The UK's king of crush Dan Willis is here to headline our famous Friday night comedy and we can't wait to watch this absolute killer in action. Dan has been an audience favourite on stages all around the world for decades, don't miss the chance to see him here for one night only. Here to host the show is 2025 Jim Jefferies opening act Brian Freeman as well as a hand-picked selection of hilarious warm-up acts currently killing it on the east coast comedy club scene.
In 2002 after winning the Time-Out Competition to be a Perrier judge at the Edinburgh festival, Dan Willis made the move from computer programmer to full time comedian. The IT crash also made this move slightly easier, if not essential- you’ve got to see the funny side of things after all. Willis performed in Edinburgh for the first time in 2002 with the Amused Moose Hot Starlets, a showcase of comedians including Greg Davies, Matthew Osborn, Nina Conti, Rhod Gilbert and fellow North-Easterner Patrick Monaghan. Now, after over 2000 gigs in 11 different countries, including TV appearances in the UK and Australia. Willis performs in all major comedy clubs as a headline act or MC (Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Comedy Central, etc), and International festivals throughout the globe performing solo shows (New Zealand and Melbourne Comedy Festivals, Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringes to name but a few).
Brian has been performing comedy for almost 10 years now, starting in Townsville, he has since gone on to do professional shows for all the major brands operating in Queensland (Sit-Down Comedy Club, Based Comedy and Kings of Comedy). Brian always takes the show to a new level when he’s performing, covering subjects from being a disabled man to dating, working hard, funny police encounters and smoking all sorts of fun things. In 2024 Brian was selected to open for the Jim Jefferies “Give Them What They Want” Stadium Tour. (He was also selected and performed In Australia’s Got Talent but the dogs cut him after saying yes…..)
