Hume City Council and Northern Community Legal Centre have partnered to deliver this community event to mark the annual campaign by Respect Victoria, 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The campaign runs every year from November 25th - December 10th.

On Tuesday November 26th 1:30PM - 3:00PM, community members and local services are invited to join us at Broadmeadows Town Hall for an afternoon of learning and networking. The theme for this event is "Respect Is Strength: Stand Up, Speak Out".

The event will feature a performance from a local women's choir, an expert panel discussion with Q&A, afternoon tea and information stalls from our local family violence services.

Children are welcome to attend with their caregivers. There will be a separate supervised area with fun children's activities.

Please note the venue is wheelchair accessible.

Registrations are essential and will be checked upon entry.

This event will be in-person only and will not be available online.
