About this event

Brisbane City Council provides free scheduled vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus.

Influenza vaccines

Council is not currently offering the Queensland Health 2025 Free Flu Vaccine. Please consult your local chemist, pharmacy or GP to receive this vaccine, which is for residents aged 5 to 65 years of age.

Council currently has NIP influenza vaccines available for the following eligible people:

  • residents over the age of 65 (adjuvanted vaccine available)
  • infants 6 months to 5 years of age
  • pregnant women
  • residents who are medically at risk.

Prior to your appointment: Print, complete and sign the applicable consent below and present it to staff upon arrival:

Attending the clinic: Residents who have made a booking must attend the clinic by no later than 15 minutes prior to the clinic closing time.

Take a look at the National Health Medical Research Council vaccination schedule for advice about when you should be vaccinated.

Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.
