About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Come and join the Pine RIvers Catchment Association and the local Bunya community in celebrating koala conservation.

We will be planting a some native trees and shrubs as a finishing touch to the ~3000 plants already installed, as part of the Wongam Koala Gully Project.

This project has been ongoing for over a year now with weeding, planting, education and research initiatives all taking place across Bunya, in an effort to support the local koala population.

Make sure to wear a hat and enclosed shoes on the day. No prior experience or equipment necessary, though if you have some gardening gloves or a trowel, feel free to bring them along.

Cold drinks and a BBQ lunch will be provided.

See you there!
