Compost Workshop

Our composting workshop covers the following topics

• Why compost? Benefits for you, your garden and your bin
• Where is the best spot to put your compost?
• Setting up a compost
• What goes in the compost?
• How to maintain your compost?
• Using compost in your garden
• The benefits of using compost rather than synthetic fertilisers

Wollongong City Council residents who book in and attend the entire composting workshop will be eligible to receive one compost bin per household if they have not received a worm farm, compost or bokashi bin in the last 2 years from Council.

Essential: Please wear enclosed shoes, bring a hat and your lunch. Participants under 14 will need a parent or guardian.
