About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Heli King (UniSC) leads this workshop for children aged 7 - 14yrs.

Come along for this special tour through the Marine BioBlitz exhibit, where you can listen to underwater recordings and learn to identify marine species. Participants will explore how both art and science can help us understand and protect the ocean.

Reflecting on your own connection to the marine environment, you will be able to express thoughts through drawing and writing, and learn how ecotourism and conservation efforts support marine biodiversity.

Young explorers will see, hear, and feel the ocean in new ways, encouraging a deep appreciation for the natural world and inspiring them to be the stewards of the future.
