You'll be matched with a group of 5-6 people who share similar interests and life stage for round one, then after the meal, you'll get to swap tables for a second round.

Frequently asked questions

How does it work?

When you book in, you’ll answer some questions which will help us match you for the first round - you share a meal together with your curated group, then for round 2 we swap tables so you can meet different people. Afterwards, we'll be in the bar where you can meet the rest of the attendees too!

Can I come solo?

Absolutely - in fact we highly encourage coming solo as you’ll make SO many more friends this way. This whole experience is designed for people who don’t know anyone here, and everyone else will be on their own and in the same boat!

Who comes to these types of events?

Some are new-to-town guests, or those looking for a more wholesome activity that's not just drinking. Many already have friends but they've moved away, are at a different life stage or feel like their interests no longer align, so they’re keen to make more like-minded friends to add to their circle!

What if I don't like who I'm matched with?

The matching is just ONE part of the whole experience! Different things work for different people and we've filled the entire room with lovely people who want to make friends. You might love the matching, or maybe you'll naturally gravitate towards people throughout the other parts of the event :)

Can you cater to dietaries?

Absolutely! Just make sure you mention your dietary requirements in the dietaries section when you book and we will make sure you are looked after.

What if I'm super nervous/anxious?

Being nervous is a completely normal part of this - it means you’re human and that you care about making friends! I guarantee EVERYONE is feeling nervous, so if you go up to someone and introduce yourself, they’ll be just as relieved to have found a new friend. Everyone is really lovely here!

What is your cancellation policy?

MATCHED EVENTS (Communal Dining Dinners/Brunches/Lunches) >72 hours can be refunded or credited entirely 48-72 hours can be rescheduled or a credit code will be issued for you to rebook at a later date. <48 hours and No Shows cannot be refunded, rescheduled or credited under any circumstances

Why is there an age limit?

We put an age bracket on these events because it means we can have a higher concentration of people around the same age, and therefore a higher chance of finding friends at the same life stage! We run different age brackets from ages 20-50 - you can see what's on via our events page
