About the workshop
Building effective relationships with patients, families, and carers is crucial in health services. An effective relationship is based on trust and open communication, paving the way for patients to participate in decisions about their care.
This interactive workshop will provide you with an understanding of evidence-based strategies and frameworks to build effective relationships with patients in the time you have, and within the professional scope of your role.
We will explore the concepts of skilled introductions, the vital role of rapport, and exploring what is important to patients.
