What does your future look like on the Yorke Peninsula? What do you want to see change or be implemented to improve your experience of ageing?
Council on the Ageing (COTA) SA is an older people’s movement and the peak body that represents the rights, interests and futures of the more than 698,000 South Australians aged 50+.
Hear from COTA SA President, Anne Edwards AO about all the initiatives that COTA SA is advocating for on behalf of people aged 50+ living in regional South Australia. You’ll also get a deeper understanding about the journey of the Yorke Peninsula Advisory Group over the last two years.
Local community members will also share their personal experiences of ageing in the region, particularly around the challenges attached to transport, health and digital inclusion.
Importantly, we’ll be calling on you to participate in a conversation and workshop about your experiences and expectations. This will ensure that future advocacy efforts of the Yorke Peninsula Advisory Group are meaningful and relevant.
Morning tea will be provided.
