About this event

Learn to create an arm gaurd, gauntlet or wrist brace for cosplay or just play, with artist Tatty K.

Learn about patterns, fixings, tools, cutting, joining and decorating to create a custom set of arm guards.

We will make the main item using foam, cover our guards in leather or fabric, then glue, rivet, stitch or tie the parts into 2 wearable gauntlets.

These can be for a cosplay costume of a specific character, or just for learning how to use the tool and materials.

Suitable for ages 8 and up, please note we will use sharp cutting tools, so some parent participation may be required.

Important things to note:

• Parents and guardians must remain with children under the age of 12 during sessions.

• If you have booked a session and can no longer attend, please call to cancel so others are able to attend.

• Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds as all material and equipment will be purchased in advance however, you can pass on your ticket to a friend.

By attending this event you consent for you, and any persons you are responsible for, being photographed and/or filmed and agree that the Mount Barker Council may use the resulting photographs and film for promotional purposes, including by publishing them in print and other media. Please see one of our event staff if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
