"Creative Kids: Strong Minds" is designed to help children understand and manage their emotions while cultivating an attitude of gratitude. Our Tuesday program harnesses the power of art to foster emotional well-being. Through self-expression in activities like drawing, painting, and sculpting, children find a unique outlet to articulate and process their emotions, express gratitude and think with a growth mindset attitude.
Strength Heroes Resilience Workshops:
Our innovative workshops focus on building emotional resilience and fostering a growth mindset. Unlike traditional methods, we believe in the power of art and play-based learning to ignite children's curiosity and make the process engaging and enjoyable while developing resilience skills.
What to Expect
Every week, your child will embark on a variety of hands-on art activities. From painting and sculpting to drawing, construction, and printing, each session will be a canvas for self-expression and creativity. Expect your child to make unique pieces of art that are unique as they are. Their creations are also powerful reminders of the messages we have explored in the term.
Structure
The structure of the class will be:
3.30 - 3.45: warm up activities to allow everyone time to get to the Maker Space and settle in to start at 3.45.
3.45 - 4: Explore our weekly resilience theme through a game or creative activity.
4 - 5: Art based creative project relating to the theme.
Please note: We offer early drop off. We are happy for you to arrange your child to be dropped off from 3.10 . Provide a snack and we will supervise them until the class start.
Ticket Price Note: The $250 ticket is inclusive for attendance to all 8 consecutive workshops from 6th May until 1st June.
Cancellation Policy

Please note, The Maker Space is a secure tenancy in Floreat Forum. Doors will be secured and children will be supervised at all times. Children will be escorted to a toilet by our staff with access to an ambulant toilet (one person access at a time) which our staff will wait on the outside of the door.
