Frequently asked questions

Who should attend this series?

Teachers, headteachers, school business managers, governors, safeguarding leads, and facilities managers responsible for emergency management and business continuity. If you’re responsible for the safety of your school community—students, staff, and visitors—these sessions are for you.

How is this series delivered?

Sessions are 100% online and include webinars (1 hour) where you can learn best practices from experts, forums (90 minutes) to discuss challenges and share insights, and workshops (3 hours) for hands-on training and the development of school-specific plans.

What will I learn?

You'll gain practical strategies to handle school emergencies, ensure business continuity, and manage critical incidents. All content aligns with UK laws like the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).

What’s the difference between a webinar, forum, and workshop?

Our webinar offers expert insights and strategies, a forum is for engaging discussions and sharing best practices, and a workshop lets you apply what you've learned through hands-on exercises and real-world solutions.

What platform is used for the sessions?

All sessions will be live on Zoom. You’ll receive the link after registering.

Will I get access to recordings?

Webinar recordings will be available for registered participants. However, forums and workshops are interactive and will not be recorded.
