About this event

  • Event lasts 7 hours 30 minutes

Join our free bus tour for ACT alcohol, tobacco and other drug sector workers, on behalf of the ACT Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs – Mental Health Alliance (ATOD-MH Alliance).

Do you work in the ACT ATOD sector and have contact with clients with co-occurring ATOD and mental health needs?

Do you want to learn more about what services are available to help those clients?

Join us for a free one-day bus tour of mental health services in the Canberra region!

This tour is for client-facing workers in the ATOD sector to familiarise you with local mental health services. We are also running separate tours for people working in the mental health sector to learn about local ATOD services.

The tour runs from 9am to 4pm, starting and ending at the MHCC ACT offices at the Griffin Centre, 20 Genge St, Canberra City. You will visit up to six organisations around Canberra and learn what programs and services they provide, as well as referral pathways.

Lunch will be provided.

Tours are limited to 10 people. If they book out, a waitlist will be established in case registered attendees are no longer able to attend.

If you have any questions, please contact communications@mhccact.org.au.

Can't make this date? We are running another tour on 3 April and 26 June.

We are also running tours for people working in the mental health sector to learn about local AOD services on 1 May, 15 May and 12 June.
