Join us for a meaningful two-hour workshop at Subiaco Library that promotes, celebrates, and acknowledges Noongar culture from the perspective of the local Noongar People.
This interactive session will explore the importance of truth-telling in Australia's history, reflecting on our nation’s journey toward reconciliation and celebrating the progress we have made. The workshop will conclude with an open and respectful discussion on how we can work together to build a stronger future - one that fosters genuine connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, Elders, and communities.
National Reconciliation Week is 27 May - 3 June. The theme for 2025 is Bridging Now to Next. This theme reflects the ongoing connection between past, present and future – learning from the past to look ahead and push forward together on the reconciliation journey. It is a call to action for all Australians to engage with reconciliation in a meaningful way. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding or take your first steps toward making a positive impact, this workshop provides the perfect opportunity to get involved.
