Drink, dine and discover on Sydney's most unique bar crawl!

Get ready to explore Sydney's best small bars in Darlinghurst and Surry Hills with a fun group of travellers and locals! This bar crawl is perfect for visitors and locals alike, and a great way for people new to Sydney to have a fun and unique night out.

Over 3.5 hours, you'll visit some of the best small bars around Sydney's city centre. We stop for drinks at 3 or 4 bars, with 1 drink (beer or wine) included. As we explore, you'll hear stories of local heroes & villains, crazy but true history and learn a bit about Australian slang and humour too.

On Saturday nights, we head to our favourite stomping grounds of Surry Hills and Darlinghurst, so you can party like the weekend it is!

Good food, great bars, fun times & new friends from all over the world - this is your ticket to the best night out in Sydney!

Note this isn't a "pub crawl" with hundreds of young backpackers - we go to quality small bars that locals drink at (no sticky floors and no cheap shots). The maximum group size is 12 people so it is perfect for solo travellers and people new to Sydney. The average age of guests is from mid-20s to mid-40s, but everyone over 18 is welcome.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come on my own?

Of course! Normally at least half of the group (maximum 12 guests) are solo travellers or guests. Your friendly host will make sure everyone gets to know each other at the start of the night.

What age are most guests?

You have to be over 18 to attend, but other than that, there are no age restrictions. Most of our guests are in their mid to late 20s, 30s and 40s, but all ages are welcome. This is not a "backpacker pub crawl" so it is not a super young crowd, with around 70% of guests being between 25 and 40ish.

What bars will we visit?

There is not a set list of bars, but think speakeasies, basement bars, rooftop cocktail bars and hidden gems. Some of the bars are top-rated, but we won't take you to the most famous or Instagrammed bars (we might point them out though). We'll take you to where the in-the-know locals drink.

Is this event just for singles?

No, this event is for everyone, but we have added "Singles & Solos" to the title to make it clear that singles or solo guests are welcome & encouraged to attend. There may be couples or groups of friends, but it is always a fun mix of guests. Don't book this to "pick up". Thirsty dudes not welcome.
