Join us for our End-Of-Year event, Data Insights 2024, an event hosted by the University of Western Australia’s Data Institute. This year’s focus is on exploring the evolving landscape of data science in Western Australia and the pivotal role it plays in shaping our future.

The event will begin with a welcome address from Professor Andrew Page, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Research at UWA, followed by a position statement on the state of data science in WA from Dr. Parwinder Kaur, Director, DNA Zoo Australia, Founder & Chair, WA Genome Atlas.

Our keynote speaker, Professor Michael Small, will reflect on the achievements of the Data Institute and share his insights on the future of data, in his address titled "Artificial Intelligence and Authentic Information."

The afternoon will conclude with a Sundowner and networking session, providing attendees with the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, academics, and data enthusiasts.
