DiaBuddies Day Bli Bli 12/10/2024 [SOLD OUT]

Diabetes Australia invites you to join us for our upcoming DiaBuddies Day at Bli Bli Watersports Complex. This is a special event to bring children living with type 1 diabetes and their families together.

Enjoy a fantastic day outdoors! Meet some new DiaBuddies and experience the excitement of the Inflatable Aqua Park where you can enjoy slides, runways, blast bags and bouncers. Diabetes Australia will provide a picnic style lunch and our diabetes educators will be on hand share resources and answer any questions.

Minimum age: Children must be at least 4 years old and be able to swim to participate on the Inflatable Aqua Park. Children aged 4-6 must always be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 7 years and above are recommended to be accompanied by an adult.

Safety: Buoyancy vests are provided as part of your entry fee and are compulsory to wear. Lifeguards will be on duty for the duration of the activities. It is recommended that a hat and rash vest be worn for sun protection.

Please note that this event is only for children living with type 1 diabetes and members of their immediate family. This is to ensure as many children living with type 1 diabetes and their families have the opportunity to attend.

Tickets: Free for children living with type 1 diabetes and their siblings aged 15 years and under. $10.00 for parents/carers.

Includes: Entry, 2 hour aqua park session, light refreshments and lunch

Parking: Free parking at the venue

Registrations close: Sunday 29 September, unless sold out prior
