Come and practise the Art of Self Care, while doing Art. Tea and coffee provided.


In a world that is always buzzing, it seems nearly impossible to schedule time for ourselves. There is a revolving door of reasons to push “me” time until tomorrow and when tomorrow becomes today the story stays the same. Knowing why, how and when to schedule time for yourself is so important when it comes to self-care and living out the best life for yourself.


I have set up a weekly Art group where you can try out any of the following art styles, everything is provided.


Watercolour - on a pre-drawn paper or a blank sheet, up to you 😊


Acrylic painting on canvas - Bring a picture of what you want to paint or choose from any of my templates


Glass painting – Create your own design or use a template on a jar provided


Sculpey dough - Get your fingers squishy and bring your inner child to the group


Drawing – Sketch something that you can see in the room practising your shading


Pastels - Have fun blending pastels to create your picture


3d Art- Learn my own technique


Vision boards - Create your very own vision board


Alcohol Inks – A fun, vivid fluid art that creates a marbled effect


So if discovering Art techniques is something you are interested in, come along to the Discover and Nurture You Art Groups on Tuesday's at 6:30pm or Wednesday’s at 10am.


Investment in yourself is $30 per week for all supplies and drinks. Or a four week pass is $92 (Four week pass does not need to be used consecutively.)

I decided a couple of years ago that I wanted to do more, be more, and I have always been a natural listener and a sounding board to my friends and family. Becoming a Counsellor seemed like a natural step for me. While studying I found that to me it came naturally. I practiced my new skills every chance I got. Attending practice sessions at my college and volunteering as much as I could. I found that due to my life experiences I was able empathise with others and what they were going through.
I have since learnt alot of different therapy styles, specialising in Mindfulness and Emotion Focused Therapy but able to use Gestalt, CBT and Solution Focused as well. Therefore I go into a session with an open mind and using only what helps and what you are comfortable with. Explaining the process as we go.
I have experience with One-on-One Counselling, Couple’s Therapy and Group Debriefing. I also have experience in the Disability Sector having a daughter that has a physical disability and having helped alot of other parents and carer’s through similar circumstances, along with volunteering at Carer’s Foundation.
I will listen to you, and support you to make changes that you want to make. I’m here for you.
