Calling all members of the Defence Community! Whether you're a current serving member, former serving or a family member over 18 years old, we invite you to embark on a thrilling adventure and discover the joy of sailing!

A seasoned sailor or have never set foot on a boat before, this event is tailored to suit all levels of experience. Our experienced instructors and friendly crew will be there to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel safe, comfortable, and ready to take the helm. Get hands-on with the sails, learn the basics of navigation, or simply relax and enjoy the breathtaking views—whatever you choose, this day promises to be unforgettable.

What happens if there is bad weather?

In the days coming up to the event, the volunteers will be keeping a close eye on the weather. If it looks like it will be quite rainy or winds over 15 knots then the sailing day will be cancelled.

How will I be notified if the event is cancelled due to bad weather?

If the event is cancelled in the days leading up to the event then you will receive an email, text or phone call. If the event is cancelled on the day you will receive a phone call.
