About this event

When was the last time you had a night out that left you feeling inspired and motivated to act?

We're inviting you to DISRUPT - a powerful showcase of art created by talented young people - who just happen to have experience of homelessness.

Hosted by the Foyer Foundation in collaboration with Y Foundations, DISRUPT, is set to be an art exhibition unlike any other. 

Homelessness is one chapter of their story but DISRUPT is about all their stories - who they are, who they’re becoming and their dreams for the future.

This event isn't just for young people. It’s for philanthropists, policy-makers, youth workers, peak bodies, leaders, colleagues and friends. It's for anyone who:

  • Loves groundbreaking, thought-provoking art.
  • Is inspired by creativity that pushes boundaries.
  • Wants to be part of a community that's making a difference.
  • Believes in a future where every young person has a safe place to thrive.

This is an opportunity to witness the transformative power of art, storytelling and back the power of young people’s talent, stories and creativity.

What is DISRUPT?

Think of it as a one-night festival filled with live music, entertainment and art all curated and created by young people - that will forever change the way you think about what it means to be a young person who has experienced homelessness.

When and where will the DISRUPT be held?

DISRUPT will be held on 27 May, the night before the 2025 Foyer Advantage Conference at Machine Hall on Clarence Street, Sydney.

Who can attend?

This event isn't just for young people. It’s for philanthropists, policy-makers, youth workers, peak bodies, leaders, colleagues and friends.

What's included in the ticket price?

All ticket sales raise funds for young people to share their experiences, elevate their voices and advocate for systems and services that give them the opportunities they deserve. The ticket price also covers entertainment, canapes and bottomless mocktails and soft drinks.
