About this event

Students will draw dizzying pictures with squares. We will then use these pictures to investigate infinite series and how they represent infinity.

Mode: Online

Schedule: 1 x 1.5 hr sessions

Suitable for: High-achieving students in Years 3 - 4.

Prerequisites: To participate fully in this program, it is recommended that students are comfortable with adding fractions.

Required Equipment:

  • A device with access to the internet and zoom
  • Coloured pens or pencils
  • A ruler
  • Exercise book or paper

Note to teachers: This program is in high demand. So that we can allow as many students as possible to participate, we ask that if you wish to book more than 10 students you purchase a group ticket and have students participate via a single Zoom, streamed into the classroom, rather than have students logging on through individual devices.
