To celebrate to release of their 3rd EP titled 'The Best Part' (out 30th of August 2024) they will be hosting a party at their favourite home ground spot Big Easy Radio. Make sure you get tickets asap or you'll miss out!

Dojo Rise, the reggae-infused band with roots stretching between South Australia and the Sunshine Coast, is thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, "Bit of Your Time," from their eagerly anticipated EP, ‘The Best Part’.

"Bit of Your Time" captures the essence of late 90s R&B and funk rock vibes, seamlessly blending it with Dojo Rise’s signature reggae tinged sound. The song explores the exhilarating feeling of finding that special someone who blows your mind, the thrill of trying to get their attention and that honey moon period when the energy is just so addictive.

“I’ve always loved that funk rock vibe from artists like Lenny Kravitz, Living Colour, and early Red Hot Chili Peppers, they always captured that swagger of what we where trying to get for “Bit of Your Time” so we took influence from that mixed with a bit of 90s R&B while adding our unique reggae fusion twist,” says Adam Blesing, Lead Singer/Bass Player.

With members spread across two states, Dojo Rise has embraced their geographical diversity, infusing their music with influences from both South Australia and the Sunshine Coast. This latest single is a testament to their ability to merge different musical styles and backgrounds into a cohesive, vibrant sound.
