About this event

Join us at VEND Marketplace, Annerley for a fun and creative event where you get to decorate a piece of decor that makes you happy.

Who is this workshop for?

This hands-on workshop is perfect for all levels of creativity. You will have access to a range of materials to decorate a small vase or pot that you can enjoy.

The only skill you need is your own imagination. ** We do use hot glue guns and quick drying glue in this workshop so it is designed for adults.

What is included?

I provide all materials and instruction. You will come away with a special piece of decor and you will have the opportunity to purchase second vase to decorate on the day if you wish.

You will have access to polymer clay, pre-made decorations, paint, pom poms, pip cleaners, gems and number of other creative fixings.

Useful to know

  • Your ticket includes a small coffee or hotbeverage which you can redeem at the downstairs cafe.
  • This venue is upstairs and therefore not wheelchair accessable. If you are unable to climb stairs, please let me know and I can tell you about this workshop at other venues.
  • I will be taking photographs during the session. Please let me know if you do not want to appear in social media.

What is a crafternoon?

It was so hard choosing a name for my business as the words ‘craft’ ‘art’ ‘painting’ etc all come with their own images in our head. Crafting for many, conjures up images of paddle pop sticks or scrapbooking paper. Art is something we think only artists can make or it makes people stressed that what they create is not good enough. A lot of people also feel to paint, draw or sculpt you need to be an expert.

I want to change these views by making creating fun and something everyone feels safe to do. At Crafternoons with Kirst we offer workshops for a variety of people to explore different creative mediums. It is my aim for everyone who attends my workshops to take away:
