On a stormy morning in 1931, Xu Zhimo boards a free postal flight to attend Lin Huiyin’s lecture in Beijing—a journey that ends in tragedy. His sudden death forces the three women in his life to confront their pasts: - Lu Xiaoman , Once Shanghai’s queen of nightlife, now lost in opium and regret. - Zhang Youyi ,His ex-wife, now a powerful banker, torn between resentment and lingering emotions. - Lin Huiyin ,A pioneering scholar whose achievements are overshadowed by guilt over Xu’s final journey.
