Would you like your child to explore the exciting world of drones for 2 days?
Basic coding, ideal for beginners.


This New Year at UWA, together with Squadrone, our January School Holiday Program offers an incredible opportunity for young kids to dive into the world of drones. They will learn the basics of drone flying, coding for drones with New Year theme, and participate in an exciting mini drone light show, all while fostering creativity and teamwork. It's an engaging, educational, and inspiring experience that ignites a passion for innovation.

During this 2-day program, your child will:

1. Learn the basics of drone flying.
2. Get an introduction to coding for drones.
3. Experience hands-on flying and fun drone challenges.
4. Understand the flight control systems and fundamentals of drone light show programming.
5. Witness an exciting mini drone light show demonstration.
6. Participate in group activities and interactive sessions.

Event Details:

Date: 7th & 8th Jan (Tue & Wed) 2024
Time: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8.45 - 9am drop off and 3.30 - 3.45pm pick up)
Location: UWA, 1 Hackett Dr., Crawley WA 6009 (Venue details and instructions will be sent to parents before program starts)
Cost: $285 (2 days, includes booking fee & teaching materials)
Year Group: Year 2 to Year 5 (no coding background required for this program)


Please notice that you need to bring your own lunch and laptop/ipad to the event.
