Duldig Studio is proud to offer The Art of Landscape, a series of inspiring Tuesday morning workshops throughout June at the Duldig Studio museum and sculpture garden. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your artistic skills, this welcoming series offers a unique opportunity to explore drawing and painting techniques in a creative and historically rich environment.
Led by award-winning artist and experienced educator Helene Oberman, each session will guide participants through different mediums and methods, including pencil, charcoal, pastel, gouache, and oil painting. You'll begin with a short presentation and demonstration, followed by hands-on practice, all while surrounded by the influential works of Karl and Slawa Duldig. Weather permitting, some sessions will take place outdoors in nearby Central Park or Hedgely Dene Gardens, embracing the plein air tradition practiced by the Duldigs themselves.
Each week will explore different techniques and offer individual support, time to build on previous work, and a chance to return to sites for further development. Attendees will also get a rare glimpse at archival landscape works by Slawa Duldig not currently on display:
