How to Plan Effectively

A good coordinator will look ahead – a topic we cover in the first part of the course in a great deal of detail. After attending the session, participants will be able to provide advice on how to coordinate events, people and work in an organisational setting.


Coordination with People/Coordination Tasks: Differences

This module examines how to successfully coordinate task and person. The importance of mastering specific skills required for coordinating both task and person is discussed, using an engaging dialogue.


Planning vs Action

Do your personal skills lean toward a can-do, drink-it-down, organic approach? Or do you feel more comfortable with a well-thought-out strategic plan?

Our trainer will help participants better understand the interplay of these two approaches so they will be prepared to appropriately respond should they need to assess their blood alcohol in a dark parking lot at 3am!'

Successful coordination and development requires good communication, but much of the communication that people do is vague — the listener is not sure exactly what the speaker took for granted.

In this session, people will learn to make their communication more particular and less general, and thus more effective. They will also learn techniques for increasing the quality of their communication as it currently is.


Goal Setting Effectively

SMART goal setting is an established and successful approach to achieving goals. In the course of the undersigned program, we will explore its meaning in greater depth and delineate more refined techniques to ensure better outcomes.


Questioning Techniques to Help People Understand

To work well together requires effort and commitment. At this workshop, participants will learn advanced techniques to assist members to participate in creating consistent results that are actually delivered. When your objectives for working together are on track, with the right direction, your team targets will be achieved!.


Resources to Increase Time Management/Planning

A key objective of planning and organisation skills is time management: learning to find time to tackle a job or action in PREP is an important aspect of developing coping skills. We hope that, through this section of PREP, we can help participants to acquire the tools required to deal with time pressures – making any task manageable.
