Gamechangers: Play, Make, Design

10am to 11.30am

Game design is much more than coding. An enjoyable game requires careful thought and design thinking to create a challenging but enjoyable experience for all players. This can often be the difference between a good and a bad game.

In this session, we will explore and play well-known board games without the use of any technology to focus on the different aspects of game design. Can you improve on the classic game design and make it into something more meaningful or fun? Make the change you want to make, and see how it plays out!

Architecture Making Workshop 1

12pm - 1.30pm

Come to Monash Architecture to experience how we teach our students to work with architectural considerations. In this workshop, we will introduce what it is like to be an architecture student through a series of making activities in our studio spaces at the Caulfield Campus. The two workshops across 2025 build upon one another through different materials and considerations and are designed for students who attend one or both workshops.
