'Factory Street', presented by Little Seed Theatre Company at the glorious Majestic silent film cinema in Pomona is a funny, surprising and thrilling night of theatre that explores the history and mystery of Silent Film in Australia- and spotlights the women, sometimes forgotten by history, behind its success.
Set in the only operating silent cinema in the world, The Majestic at Pomona is a perfect playground for this new piece - penned by Helpmann, Green Room and Sydney Theatre Critics award winner - James Millar.
Set in two time frames- 2024 and 1921- the piece explores and compares the birth of film...and where it has (more than occasionally) raised eyebrows in the present day.
With a stellar cast of some of the Sunshine Coast's brightest new talents, 'Factory Street' is a funny, moving and thrilling walk down memory lane...through the eyes of a vibrant, exciting and adventurous group of new Australian stage actors.
