My child was enrolled into the Multisports program 2024, can I enroll them into this program?

If your child participated in the Fairfield Multisports Program in 2023, they can still be enrolled; however, they will be placed on a waiting list. Our priority is to offer the opportunity to children who have not previously enrolled, allowing them to learn core skills.

Is the Multisports 2023 Program the same as Dyanmila Activ8 Sports Program?

Yes, it’s the same program with the same concept, where children aged 5 to 12 have an opportunity to 8 different sports over 8 weeks, make new friends and build confidence. We’ve recently gone through a name change, but everything else remains the same.

What does Dyanmila mean?

"Dyanmila" translates to "play" in the Aboriginal Dharug language.

What happens if it rains?

If rain or extreme weather is forecast and conditions are deemed unsafe, you will be notified via SMS by 9am on the morning of the session. Please ensure your mobile number is registered for program updates.

The event is Free for residents in the Fairfield Local Government Area.

Is Adams Park accessible by public transport.

Accepted Answer

By Train – Adams Park is a 5-minute walk from Canley Vale train station.
By Bus – For live updates on bus times, visit Transport NSW website and enter your starting point and destination as Adams Park Canley Vale.

Is there parking near by?

Yes there is parking around the park - Free for 2 hours limit.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring water, and additional water during hotter months, as well as running shoes and comfortable, loose-fitting fitness clothing.

Will sporting equipment be provided, or do we need to bring our own?

We will provide all the necessary equipment for the sport scheduled on that day.

What safety measures are in place to ensure my child's well-being?

Fairfield City Council ensures child safety under the NSW Children's Guardian Act 2019 and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. Our staff are trained in first aid, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a high staff-to-child ratio. All instructors hold a valid WWCC.

Yes, the Dyanmila Activ8 Sports Program encourages social connections. Through team activities and group sports, your child will have opportunities to interact, collaborate, and make friends while developing teamwork skills in a supportive environment.
