About this event
Join ANU Thrive 14 October for Feast of Strangers, where instead of a menu of food you are given a menu of questions and the opportunity to connect with others online.
October is Mental Health Month, which reminds us to make sure we take care of all sides of our wellbeing, including social! Feast of Strangers creates a safe space for socialization, fun and the opportunity to meet new people.
Everyone starts the evening on the same foot, where we all meet each other as strangers on Zoom. You'll then be given a Menu of Questions, including Entree, Main and Dessert. Each course corresponds to a different set of fun and silly questions which you'll discuss with a small group of other ANU students. After each course, you will be rotated to a different breakout room to meet a new group of strangers!
Once all courses are done, we will all gather again to allow people to continue any conversations, exchange contacts and hopefully leave with a friend!
At the end of the evening, a member from the ANU Thrive team will be available for one on one chat if anyone needs to debrief or disclose something.
This evening is meant to be fun and increase social connectedness for all ANU students.
