Little did they know that on the eve of the negotiations, the Jin envoy was assassinated at Qin Hui's residence. With the situation becoming dire, Sun Jun, the deputy commander of the royal guard, learned that his inept uncle, the low-ranking soldier Zhang Da, held vital cues at hand. Upon hearing about it, Qin Hui gave them one hour to either find the real culprit or face execution. As time swiftly passed, the dander Yaogin, the night watchman Ding Sanwang, and the horseman Liu Xi were drawn into the investigation one by one. Who is the real culprit? What was the motive behind the assassination? What dark secrets lie hidden in the heart of the treacherous minister?
