About this event

Eddie Betts was a star AFL player, but he’s also faced many professional and personal challenges in his life. In this webinar, the legendary Carlton and Adelaide forward – and proud Aboriginal man – shares the impact of racism and discrimination on his life, career and family.

You’ll be inspired to reflect on – and challenge how – you think, see and feel about racism. You’ll also be able to apply Eddie’s insights into leadership and success to your own personal circumstances and ambitions.

This event is open to Deakin students, staff and alumni. The first 20 people to register for the webinar will also receive a free copy of Eddie’s recent autobiography, The Boy from Boomerang Crescent. View competition terms and conditions.

Please note that this session is only for current Deakin University student and staff.
