Join our FREE comedy class, meet new people & have an awesome night at our Improv Comedy Cagefight show.
Please come along to our 1-hour FREE* class in at 6pm in Newtown, (the class is run by Sydney's only comedy school - the Sydney Comedy School) and laugh nonstop as you do a series of hilarious improv and Theatresports-like games.
The games are designed for absolute beginners and are packed full of laughs!
This event is a tonne of fun - perfect for a date night, for mates who want to muck around and have fun, travellers and people coming solo.
No one is put on the spot in this class - it's all group activities and a tonne of fun!
Note that for the class to be free, you'll need a ticket to the Improv Comedy Cagefight! We've made this easy for you - as you can get in the checkout of this event (ie you don't need to go to the Cagefight ticketing link).
For those who come to the class, Cagefight tickets are just $15. And yes, you can get these tickets at the end of the checkout for the FREE class.
We have been running these classes before our shows for over three years. We typically get 6-20 people at each class.

What does the class involve?
- A series of quick comedy games, drawing from shortform improv and Theatresports-like activities
- Similar to TV shows 'Whose Line is It Anyway?' and 'Thank God You're Here'.
- The games are easy, quick to learn, and a lot of fun!
Why do a comedy class?

- You'll gain new skills and be more charismatic storyteller socially and at work
- It will give you new insight into the world of comedy and the techniques being used by the performers during the show.
TIMINGS:
Class: 6pm (1 hour)
Break: 7pm (30 minutes - we encourage you to get food/drinks at the venue and hang out with everyone at our Singles & Mingles Table!)
