This dynamic session invites you to explore and celebrate the diverse dance forms of our community— from traditional and modern to contemporary styles. Each engaging session, lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour, will be led by expert instructors who bring passion and expertise in their cultural dances.

Experience a captivating introduction to each dance’s cultural roots, then dive into hands-on, step-by-step instruction. It's not just about dancing—it's about building connections, appreciating cultures, and enjoying physical activity in a vibrant, inclusive environment.

MAP mima is located in Speers Point Park, off Park Street, on the edge of Lake Macquarie. MAP mima is accessible by ramp with accessible toilets. MAP can be reached easily from the lake foreshore cycleway, the water, or by public transport. There is plenty of parking with accessible spaces available, onsite and in the surrounding parklands.
