Frequently asked questions

Do I need to a dance partner?

No. We will be constantly changing partners so you have the opportunity to dance with different people.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes. Tickets at the door will be $11 for one class (free only if registered through Eventbrite) and $17 for both Salsa and Bachata class

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes. There is free parking on Gilles St and in the carpark adjacent to our 93 Gilles St building

Is refund available?

Yes. Refund is available up to 48 hours before the event . They are also transferable for our upcoming Sunday event At Dance Amor Studios (refund will exclude eventbrite fees) *terms & conditions apply

What do you recommend to wear?

We recommend wearing something that is easy to move around in. As you will be dancing with a partner, consider bringing a a towel, change of tops(s) to stay fresh. We have deodorant at the studio you are welcome to use.

What is Salsa?

Salsa is a lively, upbeat Latin dance that will leave you feeling energised and confident, with a sense of accomplishment as you master exciting moves.

What is Bachata?

Bachata is a slower, smooth and more intimate Latin dance with easy steps and a focus on connecting with your partner, making it great if you want to feel connected and relaxed, building your confidence and allowing you to enjoy the music with ease.
