Are you ready to up your roller derby game?

Join us at the Logan Leisure Centres - Mount Warren Sports and Fitness Centre for the Freight Train - Derby Dominance Clinic! This in-person event is perfect for bouting level skaters looking to improve their skills and dominate on the track. Freight Train will cover everything from footwork to strategy, helping you become a force to be reckoned with.

Round out the weekend with in game practice to flex the skills you picked up at our WFTDA aligned and USARS scrimmage.

YES!

Is this event Open Gender?

Yes, we will have WFTDA aligned scrimmages and an open gender themed scrimmage.

Is this open to Juniors?

Yes! Our juniors have a whole day of skills coached by Freight Train. Juniors get free admission to the Roller Dance session.

Do Officials pay for attendance?

No! Dedicated officials receive free admission to the event.

ESTABLISHED 2007 Sun State is based on Brisbane's south side, but its members are spread throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Training is held at Mansfield. Local games are hosted at various venues across South-East Queensland. Sun State's representative team - Swarm - are a Division 1 ranked team in the WFTDA. They are invited to play games locally, interstate, and internationally.

EMPOWERING OUR MEMBERS Sun State promotes and supports the empowerment of women in a safe, organised environment that fosters the health, well-being, and personal growth of our skaters. All Sun State members - comprised of skaters, officials, and volunteers - have a voice and contribute to the running, decision making, and direction-setting of the league.
