About this event
Friday Night Dance Club is an all ages dance party held at Shebang Studio in Northcote every month. It's an opportunity for young and old and in between to get on down to dance floor bangers from the 80s on.
It's not a dance class, or a nightclub - think wedding dance floor vibes, without the speeches!
We start with a mingle and refreshments in the atrium from 7.15pm before we head into the dance space at 7.30pm to bust our best moves under the disco ball!
Take a break anytime: there's seating available.
Relive the feel-good glory of 80s, 90s and 00s classics and be part of teaching the next generations how to Nutbush!
We finish up at 8.45 so you can head home at a decent hour, walking on sunshine with all those dance endorphins flooding your system and putting a big smile on your face!
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Shebang is an accessible venue.

100%. We have friendly but firm security and will not tolerate any behaviour that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.
Young people 10 and up enjoy this event. It's probably not the best for younger children, however you are welcome to bring them. We play original versions of songs so there are often adult words/themes in the lyrics. We think it's fine. Up to you if you're OK with that for your own kids.
