Frequently asked questions

How is this event different to speed friend-ing?

I'm glad you asked! Unlike speed friend-ing where the event is very structured and you're moving constantly, this will be more of a mixer format. We will still have plenty of social games, activities and icebreakers for you to meet as many people as you can but the format is CASUAL!

I'm worried it's going to be awkward

We know how daunting it can be to put yourself out there, however, the last thing to worry about is awkwardness! We planned this event assuming everyone coming would be awkward and mute (though that certainly won’t be the case). There will be conversation starters and social games throughout.

Can guys come?

Sadly, this event is for women only :'(

What's the age range?

The INDICATIVE age range is 18-35. If you’re just outside of this range, you can still come! It’s just a guide so we have a similar aged group :)

Can I come alone?

You sure can! In fact, most people actually come by themselves. The whole point is to meet new people and everyone is in the same boat so it's a very warm and welcoming environment.
