The time of life around fertility, birth, and babies is fundamentally important to the foundation of a family's wellbeing. Getting it right, and managing the many demands experienced by new families, makes for incredibly satisfying and rewarding clinical work.
This series of small group online workshops is designed to help clinicians with existing clinical mental health experience who are new to the field of perinatal psychology. It's your "Starter Pack" - providing all of the foundational and practical things you need to know to begin that road to becoming a confident and competent perinatal mental health practitioner. Of course, if you are a more experienced practitioner, we would love to have you along to expand your practice and learn about our clinical framework and approaches.
Your host for these workhsops is Clinical Psychologist Dr. Rachel Bushing, the Director of POP! Psychology and Three Little Birds Perinatal Psychology, based in Brisbane, Australia. Rach has over 20 years experience working with kids, teens, and families, and has spent the last 5 years developing her skills and knowledge in perinatal mental health. Three Little Birds has grown to a team of 12 perinatal practitioners working across 2 locations. You will be joining our team of practitioners for these workshops, which are offered to our new team members to enhance their learning in perinatal metnal health.
