The Energy Future Conference series was initiated by the School of Chemical Engineering in 2014 covering all aspects of energy technologies and clean energy transitions including hydrogen, batteries and carbon-dioxide conversion. The 5th Energy Future Conference (EF5)will be held at UNSW from 18 - 20 November 2024, co-hosted with the University of Sydney Net Zero Institute, the Powerfuels Including Hydrogen Network and the ARC Training Centre for Global Hydrogen Economy (GlobH2E). This year, the conference will consist of three key streams:


  1. The NSW NetZeroNextGen Assembly (co-hosted with the University of Sydney Net Zero Institute)
  2. The GlobH2E Summer School focusing on catalysis process and advanced characterisation techniques for HDRs and ECRs
  3. The Sustainable Fuels Symposium focusing on the Synthetic Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Renewable Diesel (co-hosted with the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub's Power Fuels including Hydrogen Network)

Registration is required for every participant. Please read the cancellation policy on our website before you purchase tickets.

This ticket grants access to all three events of the EF5 Conference*.

VENUES AT UNSW SYDNEY

The GlobH2E Summer School will be held across Colombo Theatres (18-19th November) and the June Griffith Building, M10 (20th November).

All venues are hosted on UNSW's Kensington Campus. Please consult our campus map to help you on the day.
