Gardening and Peer Support

With a focus on mindful activity and social connection, this group will explore activities grounded in therapeutic horticulture principles under the skilled facilitation of our specialist staff.

Participants will have freedom to engage in the garden and nature-based activities they would like to explore within the safe and supportive environment provided by Kevin Heinze Grow. We will have a dedicated garden space in their garden where we can put into practice seasonal gardening knowledge, all while having the opportunity to connect and engage with other carers. And then during lunch there will be an opportunity to get together for a Peer support conversation.
