Gardening Workshop: Planning Your Winter Veggie Garden

When growing food at home, it is important to plan, and plan early, to get the most out of your veggie garden. As we head into Autumn, come and join us at the Aintree Community Garden to plan your winter garden, and get planting!

In this workshop, Eat Grow Garden facilitator Jono Ingram, will help you to plan your own home veggie garden with information about:

• appropriate crops to grow in Winter in Melbourne
• companion planting for common winter veg & herbs
• how to successfully plan using crop rotation
• timelines for planting & harvesting
• draw a plan for your veggie garden that you can take home and implement.

Cost is $20pp which includes all workshop materials and morning tea. If cost is a prohibative factor, contact us to ask about a limited number of concession/free tickets
